Gore Cemetery

Description

The Gore Cemetery is set in 3.51 hectares in North Gore. Established in 1878, the cemetery has spectacular views up the Waimea Valley. Today the cemetery is only available for an interment if the plot has been pre-purchased or to reopen an existing plot. Ashes burials can be accommodated. There are about 20 interments a year.
